A. Ensign is a legitimate non-vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC), registered at the Ministry of Communications (MOC). We are licensed for issuing house B/L to clients for shipments on board in China.
Q. What is heavy weight surcharge?
A. Carriers usually impose a maximum loading weight limit on each container, and a heavy weight surcharge will be incurred should the containers exceed the weight limit. There is no standardized charge as each carrier has its own policy. Please contact us for further details.

Q. Does Ensign offer online air booking form for download?
A. Yes, clients can download the form via 'http://www.ensignfreight.com/eng/tools03.php. Other forms such as Shipping Order form and Letter of Indemnity are also available for download.
Q. Should FOB shippers in China contact Ensign Hong Kong for air booking?
A. Ensign operates 12 branch offices in China. FOB shippers should contact our local branch office in their proximity for air booking. Should there be any inquiry, please contact our Hong Kong staff for assistance.

Q. Does Ensign provide warehouse logistics services?
A. Yes, Ensign provides a variety of warehouse logistics services such as Bonded, Non-bonded and Bonded Logistics Park in China. Please contact us for further details.
Q. Can I check the status of cargos using Ensign’s warehouse logistics service in different regions through a single online system?
A. Yes, Ensign’s online tracking system is a user-friendly media offering a “single-point-of-contact” for clients to check their cargo status in less than two minutes.
Q. Do I have to pay any fees at the destination of my shipment?
A. You may be required to pay offloading and documentation fees at the destination country. Each country has its own policy regarding such fees.
